The inspiration for this image was the Biblical Judith. Judith The Conqueror is the most striking proto-feminist heroine in Scripture. When Israel was threatened, she killed the enemy general Holofernes and took his head home in a sack. That was surely a woman not to be messed with. I took the liberty of transporting her forward in time for this depiction.
