Phil's Poser Graphics

The image below  is another of the images that I had rendered in steps.  This image required just two steps in Poser.  The reason for rendering this image in steps didn't really have anything to do with Poser 5's Firefly rendering engine.  The render was done in two steps for the purpose of convenience only.  I did the backdrop first, then the female figure.  After applying lighting, I saved the backdrop in a separate  file.  With  the backdrop still loaded, I inserted the female figure, applied some maps, then applied hair and clothing, finally I posed the figure.  After posing the female figure and moving it around a bit, I deleted all of the backdrop.  Next I saved the figure in a separate file, then rendered the female.  I saved the render of the female in TIFF file format.  Next I closed the female figure file and opened the backdrop file.  I rendered the backdrop and saved the render as a TIFF file.  I opened both TIFF images in Photoshop, loaded the alpha channel in the female image, then dragged the alpha channel onto the backdrop image.  I did a little touch up work on the combined image, then applied a stroke, and my signature.  This may be accomplished more efficiently by some folks, but I found this method works fine for me.
